Real vs Fantasy

I was thinking about how TV can seem so real at times. I remember the season finale of CSI:Miami right when Horatio got shot in the back, I quickly noticed how upset supporters of the show became. It made me think you know, because Horatio is not real. But how many of us get upset when innocent baby's are killed or someone is killed by a drunk driver? This quickly made me mad because something that someone else made up could get more of a rise out of us than reality. God is reality and we need to be sensitive to Him and be available to Him whenever He needs us not just when it is convenient. Most times or should I say all the time God is not convenient, He is not waiting for you to get comfortable; He waiting for you to stand up and say I will go no matter what the price. I will sacrifice for you my Lord. So My prayer today is:

Lord Let us see what is important to you and what is real to you Lord help us to answer the call no matter how uncomfortable that call may be Lord help us to fight against complacency, and comfort that keep us for doing what we should be doing. Lord Help us to stand and say I will go. Help us Lord to discern what is real and what is fantasy. Help us Lord not to get caught up in this world or in those things that are distractions. Help us Lord to look to you in all things. Jesus you are real. In Jesus mighty name Amen
