You Can't Straddle The Fence

I am really appalled at this double standard I see in life, I am puzzled at the acceptance of this you do what you want to in Hollywood and still call yourself a Christian as long as you pay your tithes. The fact of the matter is it just not so and by no means justifiable. The bible says in Matthew 6:24 (New Living Translation) 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. it also says

1 Corinthians 14:40 (New Living Translation) But be sure that everything is done properly and in order.

This means we must find what God's order is that we might live by it. So I admonish you as Joshua did the Israelites chose this day who you serve As for me and my house we will serve the Lord Joshua 24:15 (New Living Translation) 15 But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.
