What Do You Measure Yourself By?

The world has so many measuring sticks that they size us up too. What are you measuring yourself by? I used to measure myself by a mirror a mirror whose standards are impossible for any woman to fit. I measured myself against models and those whom I thought where better than me. Then I found that God does not measure by these things so why should I measure my self by there things. The more I measured myself the more depressed I got because in my own eyes I didn't measure up. I am so thankful that I found the measure of a person is the love of God. God's love is endless, God is so enamored by me because he created me to be who I am. So I hope you will drop all the things you measure yourself by and let God's love be enough. I found God's love is enough for me and know I walk in a confidence that no one can shake because I know who I am and who I am measured by!! My prayer today is Lord help to measure ourselves only by you and your love. Help us to know that your love and your grace are enough. Lord help us to know that we can be ourselves we can be who you created us to be whether or not the world accepts us. Lord help us to know that being accepted by you is all that we need. Lord you are all we need. In your name Jesus Amen
