I was thinking about when I was in High school and how much I thought it mattered to be someone popular then. I remember how high school was my whole world. but I found I was putting to much emphasis on something that didn't matter. You see when you graduate and go off to College or get a job who you were in high school is irreverent. The Job force doesn't hire because you were popular and head cheerleader or quarter back of the football team they hire you because you are qualified. Nobody even remembers that stuff after you graduate. What I'm trying to say is live for what matters. God is the one that matters in this life so be all that you can be in Him. Because if you never become one of those popular girls who are mean to the other girls God is still going to love you. And you know people change I had a popular person I went to school with apologize to me. I was very touched by this but I had already forgiven her before we graduated. You know it is just like God. God forgave us before we even knew we needed his forgiveness. I said all this to say all you need is to know that you are accepted by God more than any human being could offer to accept you. My Prayer today is Lord may we know what is truly important in our lives. May we know that being accepted by you is all we need. That your acceptance Jesus flows past the status quo. Lord Jesus you are all we need and all we could ever want. Lord help us to turn our desires to fit in to you because we already fit in with you and nothing can change that. In your mighty name Jesus Amen
