From My Heart To Yours

Recently I admitted to a friend that sharing deeper parts of my heart is a scary thing. and it is. You see true love these days is a mine field. I have chosen to wait until God brings me my true love. I know a lot people have said you have date or put yourself out there. I choose to believe that if God can create the Grand Canyon then He can bring two People together that he ordained to be together. I have faith enough that God will work it out without my help. We have to understand that God is working on two different individuals that He is getting them ready for each other. We have to stop using the worlds methods to find kingdom love. All it does is cause confusion and people become cynical. I don’t know how God will do things I just trust He will.I know it is hard to be still and know God is God in this area of life, but if we don’t we end with a mess and a hurting heart that feels like it’s in a million pieces.God knows what we need and when we need it. Solomon was wise when he said three times Promise me, O women of Jerusalem by the gazelles, and wild deer, not To awaken love until the time is right. Song of songs 2:7,3:5,and 8:4. Solomon Knew that if we awakened love before the time appointed by God that it would be hard. The Good news is that God is with us every step of our journey. God is not only there But he waiting for you to interact with him on your journey. He cares about everything That happens to you. He loves you so much. And before you can even think of loving another individual you have to love God and allow God to show you how to love others. In my own experience that best way to love is to love someone who does not reciprocate your love in any shape or form. It will definitely stretch you. I also recommend focusing on what you do have like that song I used to sing in Sunday school “ Count your many blessings name them one by one Count your blessings see what God has done” Remember Joy is a choice. Avoid things that trigger a negative response whether it be a book, a movie,or a song. This is part what Romans 16:19 Be excellent for what is good, be innocent of evil. Also remember Philippians 4:8 Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. I am traveling this journey with you my single brothers, and sisters. And most importantly God is on this journey with you too. He will never give you more than you can handle. Remember above all else that nothing can separate you from God’s love Romans 8:37-39 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above, or in the earth below- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. You must know the love of God so that you may love others. Just know it whatever you go through you are never alone. Ps I am encouraged by a song called Psalms 23 by People and Songs .
