God's Love Will Set You Free

I'm not perfect and I don't need to be

What God says is what I see

I’m beautiful in every way

It doesn’t matter what you say

I my strength in whose I am

Holy and completed by the Lamb

So know I’m breaking free

From all the critics and insecurity

To all the voices that say who I am is not enough

I don’t need your makeup clothes, or stuff

I am fine being who I was created to be

I have the power it’s all up to me

You had your time when I was insecure to the core

Guess what I won’t take it anymore

I took my life back

God put me back on track

I believe what God says i can be

That I am strong, beautiful, accepted, and free to be me

The status quo can no longer put me down

It can no longer make me miserable, or frown

God in me has taken domain

I’m covered by His grace there is no shame

I’m done I’ve had enough

It’s what’s inside that makes me not stuff

I’m happy and confident now

I see myself and say wow

Yes I’m different from all that I see

But that’s beauty of being me

So friends boldly be who were created to be

Boldly be confident happy and free

God loves you the way that you are

When you know God’s love you will go far

God loves you like no one else can

Until you get this you won’t truly have the love of a man

Men are wonderful but you don’t need one to be whole

Only God can fill that void in you soul

So stand up be proud of who you are

You are God’s daughter His shining star

You are the apple of His eye he wants you to see

When you know how much you’re loved you can’t help but be free
