The Importance Of Choices

In life we make many choices. Most times what happens to us is by our choosing. So today I want to highlight a poem from our book “Words From The Heart Of The Father.” This poem is called “Because We Choose To Be.” Let’s remember that our choices affect us and those around us.

Because We Choose to Be

We are alone

Because we choose to be

Because God’s word is true

He has promised never to leave us

Nor forsake us too

We are without

Because we choose to be

He said He would supply our every need

Nor has He seen His seed forsaken

Nor is His seed a begging breed

We are in despair

Because we choose to be

What He has spoken in truth He said, “My yoke is easier

And my burden lighter too.”

We are in pain

Because we choose to be

By His stripes, He says we are healed

And He took all of our infirmities Upon Golgotha Hill

We are lost

Because we choose to be

Look what He did for you and me

He was wounded and rejected

And He died on Calvary

But He rose up

On that third day

From death and hell, He took the keys

So that we may have right to eternal life

In Him is our victory

But the choice will always be

One He allows you to make

Will you receive His undying love for you

Or live in despair and hate

So please take the time

And think about

The choice you choose to make

See Him standing with outstretched arms for you

His unending love He wants you to take

But He will never force you

In the end, what road will you take

Will you receive His promises for you

Or will hell and darkness be your state

Remember it will always be your decision

To receive a lie or receive the truth

All satan can do

Is steal, kill, and destroy

But God gave His all for you
