November is the month we all celebrate being thankful. Being thankful should be an everyday occurrence. My Dad once said “Maybe we should have a gripe day so everyone could be thankful the rest of the year. Let us reflect on all our blessings in life. There will be once again two poems in this article. All the poems in our articles unless otherwise noted can be found in our book “Words From The Heart Of The Father.”

Father, I’m Grateful

Father, I lift my voice to you

I sing with all my being about what You do

Without a doubt there is none like You

You are the one who

Died for me without blame

You loved me and took my shame

Beyond the cross You thought of me

So thru Your Glory I could see

Life with You is better than the air I breathe

To live for You is my creed

Your Sovereignty blows me away

In spite of me, beside me You stay

The sacrifice You made I could never pay

You rose again and are with me each day

Every day I love You more

Even more obsessed than the day before

Bread of life, center of my being, and all I am

Your love has so much velocity

I could never thank You enough for Your generosity

With Your love none compare

The way You love me I want to share

With You I’m without a care

I need nor want for anything

Everything I could ever want our Presence brings

Jesus, You are the reason I sing

You are the reason for everything

I have never been forsaken

Nor will I be shaken

You are in me and I in you

There is nothing you can’t do

Jesus, You make me strong

I want You all day long

Nothing satisfies like You

Your will is all I want to do

My trust is in You alone

Jesus, You are my all, and all I know and have known

With you all things are pure and new

Every day is worth living with You

Your mercy I cannot comprehend

Jesus, You will always be my best friend

You will always be with me until the end

On You I will always depend

Life without You, Lord is a dead end

Lord, I will go wherever You send

But if I’m not sent I don’t want to go

What You know is what I need to know

You comfort me and hold my head to Your breast

In Jesus is where I want to rest

Love flows through You, My King

Let me show our love in everything

Your will be done

Victory is already won

On that tree is where life starts

You are my heart of hearts

I was birthed into sin my story

But all for His glory

I am redeemed by My Lord

All He as for me is stored

For me to line up, to be on one accord

By what proceeds out of His mouth, His words

I live by the Word and the one that proceeds

For in His words is life indeed

His Presence I thirst for

Everyday I must have more and more

Without Your Presence, I cannot live

I surrender and freely give

My all to You I trade for Yours

Everything that is not like You close the doors

When people look in my eyes, Yours I hope they see

For You live, I am dead to me

All I want is for Your light to shine

This is Your life, not mine

Resurrect me with You

So Your Glory is shone in all I do

Without You my life is void and empty

Fill me up, and keep my flesh on that tree

In You is where I want to be

I am faceless, it’s You not me

No name have I

Just a son through which Christ is Glorified

I am here to worship Him

Walking around singing holy like the seraphim

I lay down everything

To forever let Your Presence ring

Your precious blood covers me

Every day our glory I see

There is nothing that doesn’t praise Your name

Just for me You came

I Am So Grateful

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

For all that You have done

It was thru no grace of my own

That my life and heart You won

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

For the trials You brought me thru

They opened up a bridge of love

That brings me close to You

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

For the friends u send my way

They come n my life just when I need them

To brighten my day

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

For things I can not see

Even when I can not feel You

I know you’re still with me

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

For the provision that You have made

For the promise You made me in Your Word

To give us each day our daily bread

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

That You truly take care of me

And that You see the finished work

That I was called out to be

Heavenly Father, I am so grateful

That when I am weak You are so strong

And that I can always lean upon you

And that at low times You carry me along
