Twas a night before Yeshua came
As He walked through the house
He was searching and longing for His dear spouse
He looking for true worship and fervent prayer
And hoping that His presence would be found there
But what He found instead made Him cry
The wells that were once full had now run dry
The Bride was not ready; She was stuck in her ways
Choosing her mirror image and refusing His gaze
Instead of continuing to prepare for His arrival
She is full of herself and in need of revival
Her dress was on the hanger, and the lamps blown out
She had totally forgotten that her time was running out
Yahshua went to Father and said
She is still asleep and has not left her bed
She is seeking everyone but Me
She wants entertainment more than her destiny
I cannot bring her to You this way
Yet I love her and long for her each passing day
I will come back, ready or not
How she prepares now will determine her lot
Will she become who I created her to be
Or will she hear, depart from Me
For I am Holy and she must be too
In order for my glory to shine thru
When I look at the reflection of her heart
Do I have all of it, or just a part
Has she recognized that My presence is not near
And that My Body no longer holds my truth dear
I do not want to lose so many
Is there one who truly loves me?
Are there any?
My heart breaks and desperately wants you back
I am the eternal fulfillment for all you lack
Repent and turn, from all your wicked ways
So I may give you abundance of days
Don’t make me leave without you; when I come
I long for all, not just for some
Make sure you are ready, day and night
Being ready is the only way I can hold you tight
Get ready and always be prepared to go
For when I come nobody knows
I give the signs that tell you the season
Don’t be blinded by the world’s hype or reason
Live in My purpose in all that you do
And know in your life, that I live in you
Light up the lamps and stand at attention
Put on the whole armor
Remember every promise that I mentioned
Watch and Pray, because this is a war
Continue in Me, Until I walk through the door
