Dating Mystery

I think I found the key to getting a date

If I follow all the rules it will workout great

I read all the Christian books on relationships

Now if I could remember the 2001 tips

What's #1 have a little mystery

I think I've got that down he doesn't see me

Next subtle hints isn't that what they say

There's got to be another way

It's miracle relationships happen these days

With all these weird over complicated ways

Why can't I just write a note and have you check the box

Do we have to be so unorthodox

In dating there are more rules than the tax code

I have to walk on eggshells not aloud to be bold

Two different languages we must speak

English and Body to most of us it's Greek

Do I twirl my hair and smile

Waiting for him to take hint could be a while

Single life isn't so tough

There aren't 2,000 rules to make it rough

The bible is straight forward so why can't I be

If we followed it's example we'd all be free

When a man finds a wife isn't that what I read

When you do what seems right that path is dead

So here's my solution to dating galore

Cast your cares on Jesus then you don't have to care anymore

Love Him first then He'll trust you with another

Until them respect your sisters and your brothers
