Desires and Symbols

I think deep down the reason we love movies about princes, and knights is because they represent characteristics we really care about. We all want to feel like we matter to someone. The prince always makes the common girl in the movie feel special.

 We want to be protected. Who better to represent this than a knight in shining armor.

We live in America where there are no princes or knights. However if a man finds you,

that values who you are he  is a prince. If he stands by you and protects you he is a knight.

Whatever you do, do not build expectations so high that no man can measure up. Because you’ll be waiting for a prince that will never come. Treat your man with respect and you just might find a prince in the making. If you want a prince you must behave like a princess. How you dress and how you act is the kind of man you will attract. Respect yourself!  Know that you are not an object. You are a person who deserves to be treated with dignity. There is more to you than your body.
