Possible Not Easy

God says with Him, anything is possible. I used to believe that this meant easy. God is with me so that every task will be a breeze. Boy, was I wrong. For example, I took on the job of creating a book cover. I had never created or designed a book cover in my life. I proclaimed I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I sat in front of my computer and got to work. In my mind, I thought God was with me; this would take 4 to 5 hours tops. Remember, when I said possible does not mean easy. It took five days of sweat, frustration, and tears with God's help to get the final product. The same is true with whatever task we put our hands on. We can certainly do all things through Christ who strengthens us. However, we must understand that possible does not mean without effort. As my Pastor said this past Sunday, "We have a part, and God has a part." God will always do His part. He will not do our part.

We see what is possible when we do our part with God's help. I have attached a photo of the book cover that God, in His grace, helped me to accomplish.
