I have always worn my heart on my sleeve. I saw a video of another prominent person renouncing their faith. This was very tough for me to process because he is not first, nor will he be the last to walk away. I began to ask Abba why this is happening, and why the Body of Christ is sitting back watching it happen and not doing anything about it. The truth is most times we mistake religion for God. When one has a religion and gets tired of it, they walk away from it. But when you have an experience with Abba Father that leads to a true relationship with Him there is nothing that can cause you to walk away from Him. There is nothing you can do to cause Him to walk away from you. So, these people did not walk away from the faith they walked away from their vision of faith that they grew up with that now they want to withdraw from. The Body of Christ needs to wake up. The desire for entertainment to not worth the loss of souls. The Christian life is not all roses and sunshine. The Body of Christ needs to rise up and take a stand. These teachings that tell people the Christian life is a walk in the park is not preparing people for the battle that they are in. We are in a spiritual war internally and externally. The damage is happening. What is the Body of Christ going to do about it? What is it going to take to get our attention? The Christian life that the Bible describes is difficult but worth it. The Body of Christ needs the firm foundation of Jesus Christ to be able to stand against the false doctrines that are weakening and watering Christianity from what it is supposed to be. In this world, you will have trouble you believe in God believe also in me. Christianity is often inconvenient and uncomfortable. We cannot walk in the lie that says you can follow Jesus without taking responsibility for your actions or on a copilot basis. There can only be one Lord of your life. It will either be Jesus, the devil, or your fleshy desires. We are meant for more than warming a pew. We are meant to flood the world with God’s love and to do the things that Jesus did and greater still.
